Vol. I
A quiet habit tracker.
Like a notebook,
not a Slack.
Tallies is a minimalist app for iPhone, iPad and Android for counting the things you care about. Swipe to draw a felt-marker tally on warm cream paper. Tap the widget to add one without opening the app. Forget about it the rest of the day. No streaks, no notifications, no nag.
i.What it does
- Organize what you're counting into journals: push-ups, hydration, knitting rows, prayer beads, birds at the feeder, sober days. One per chapter, or many.
- Swipe anywhere on the page to add a tally. The mark draws under your finger in felt-marker ink.
- Add tallies without opening the app: tap the + on the home-screen widget. On iPhone and iPad you can also ask Siri: "Tally push-ups in Tallies."
- See running totals filtered by today, week, month, or all time.
- Light, dark, or follow-system: your choice.
- On iPhone and iPad, syncs across your devices via iCloud, with no account to create. On Android, everything stays on the phone. There is no sync between iPhone and Android.
ii.What it doesn't do
- No push notifications, ever.
- No streaks, no points, no leaderboards.
- No social features.
- No third-party tracking, analytics, or ads.
- No account required. Your data stays on your devices: in your iCloud on iPhone and iPad, on the phone itself on Android.
iii.Get it
Free to start with one journal of two items. A one-time $4.99 purchase unlocks unlimited journals and items, with nothing recurring. The App Store and Google Play sell it separately, so a purchase on one doesn't unlock the other. Requires iOS 18 or later, or Android 8.0 or later.
Made quietly by sthreelabs.
