Privacy Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-04-23
i.The short version
None of the apps in The Paperback Collection — Tallies, One Line in Time, or A Spell of Work — collects, transmits, or shares any personal information. Your data stays on your device and in your private iCloud account.
ii.What data the apps store
Each app stores only the data you create in it — tally marks, journal entries, or completed work sessions. This data lives in two places:
- Your device. Each app keeps a local copy of your data so it works offline.
- Your private iCloud account. If you are signed into iCloud and have iCloud Drive enabled, Apple syncs your data across your Apple devices. This data is encrypted by Apple and is accessible only to you. sthreelabs (the developer) cannot read your data.
iii. What data the apps do NOT collect
- No analytics or usage tracking.
- No crash reporting that includes personal data.
- No advertising identifiers.
- No location data.
- No contacts, photos, or other device data.
- No account registration. None of the apps has an account or login.
iv.Third-party services
The apps use only Apple's iCloud (CloudKit) to sync your data across your devices. No other third-party services are used.
For Apple's privacy policy regarding iCloud, see apple.com/legal/privacy.
v.Per-app privacy policies
Each app has an identical privacy posture, but you can view per-app policies here:
vi.Children's privacy
The apps are intended for general audiences and do not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children under 13.
vii.Deleting your data
To delete your data for any app, delete that app from your device. To remove the iCloud copy as well, go to Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage → select the app → Delete Data.
viii.Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in any material way, the "Last updated" date above will change and the new policy will be posted on this page.
